UX and UI design
Findr is the Airbnb of commissioned photography, where anyone can find a photographer anywhere to shoot just about anything. The desktop version is already loved by picture editors and event organisers, but the move to a dedicated mobile app presented an opportunity to appeal to a new and more domestic audience—brides and grooms to be.
Before making any decisions about the product, we spent hours speaking both to recently married couples and the photographers they'd commissioned. This provided some solid—and in many cases unexpected—insights which helped inform the shape of the final product.
A detailed UX wireframing phase helped us get the basic structure, functionality and user flow right, before moving on to consider the finer points of the UI.
The result is a slick, simple app which will ease the pain of finding and commissioning a photographer.
